As I was browsing through my favorite thrift store yesterday, I spotted this piece. I thought it was gorgeous and I snatched it up fast before someone else spotted it.
I know this is really for the dining table, but I want to use this on the coffee table in my living room. However, my muse has deserted me…what to put in it?
I would love to know what YOU would put in it! Any and all suggestions are welcome as I’m totally clueless!
I am so loving the designs in the gold frame.
The little feet are too cute!
The glass dishes are divided.
Please, if you have a minute, drop me a comment telling me what you would put in the dishes if you were using it in your living room.
Thanks for visiting with me today! I’m joining Courtney at French Country Cottage for Feathered Nest Friday.

What a lovely piece! I would've snapped it up too! Hmmmmm... Well there's a;ways candy and nuts (Which is what it looks like it was made for) Or you could do little vignettes on each side? Maybe building up with moss over the divider pieces and placing some nests and birds?
I would stick with some delicious candy though if it was me *winks*
And in answer to your question, the peacocks are real mounted birds and I found them on ebay in seperate auctions. They come up every so often there, and if you're looking for one they have a couple listed now.....*winks* Vanna
I too just love this piece. But if it were me, I'd use it in the bedroom or even the bath to hold sparkly jewels or pretty soaps, shells or a sponge. Let us know what you decide, I'd love to see.

Patti
